knowledge of dimensions

Here is a simple Question..following is a letter well known to everyone..

yes, this is 'S'. Now the question is whether this letter is a one dimensional figure or two dimensional. give your answers in the comments with argument in your support.

    it is two dimensional..and if the letter is extended out of the plane then 3-d

    but it should be 2-d since it is not only along x dir.
